This Privacy Policy explains how Blinta collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Blinta website, create an account, link a League of Legends account, purchase Premium, participate in missions, contact support, or otherwise interact with the Service.

Blinta is a mission and progression platform with free and premium access. This policy is intended to reflect the product as it currently operates.

1. Who operates Blinta

Blinta is operated by SIA "BASKO", a Latvian limited liability company, registration number 40203289054, with registered address "Sveteli", Turki, Turku pag., Livanu nov., LV-5312, Latvia. For privacy law purposes, SIA "BASKO" is the controller of your personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you use Blinta, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account data, including your email address, username, password hash, account status, and account-related settings.
  • Linked League of Legends account data, including Riot ID, tagline, region, account linkage status, summoner identifiers, profile icon information, rank-related data made available through permitted integrations, and related account data needed to operate League-linked features.
  • Mission and progress data, including match identifiers, timestamps, queue or mode information, eligibility checks, mission progress state, completion history, points or reward history, and related gameplay verification records.
  • Stats and history data, including match performance information and account history that Blinta uses to display progress, mission status, leaderboard information, or player-facing account features.
  • Subscription and billing data, including plan type, subscription status, renewal dates, invoices, payment status, failed-payment events, refunds, disputes, and limited payment-related metadata received from payment providers. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers, and Blinta does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Support and contact data, including messages you send to support, account-related requests, and any evidence or information you submit during support or verification interactions.
  • Technical and security data, including IP address, browser and device information, request logs, error logs, timestamps, and security-related events used to keep the Service available and secure.
  • Fraud-prevention and compliance data, including risk signals, billing dispute records, chargeback information, verification outcomes, and records used to investigate misuse, fraud, or abuse of the Service.

3. How we collect personal data

We collect personal data in three main ways:

  • Directly from you, when you create an account, update your information, link a game account, purchase Premium, contact support, or submit information through the Service.
  • Automatically through your use of the Service, such as when the Service records security logs, service events, mission activity, account state, and technical data needed for functionality and protection of the platform.
  • From third parties connected to the Service, including payment providers such as Stripe, Riot or other supported game-account integrations, and service providers that help us operate hosting, support, email, or infrastructure functions.

4. Why we use your personal data

We use personal data to provide and operate Blinta, including to:

  • create, maintain, and secure user accounts;
  • authenticate users and manage sign-in state;
  • connect linked League of Legends accounts and keep those connections current;
  • track mission eligibility, mission progress, milestone completion, account history, and related platform functionality;
  • display stats, history, and other player-facing account features based on linked gameplay data;
  • provide free and premium features, including Premium mission access and expanded account functionality;
  • process subscriptions, renewals, failed payments, refunds, disputes, and account billing support;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, cheating-related misuse, manipulation, or violations of our Terms;
  • communicate with you about your account, support requests, legal notices, service updates, and billing events; and
  • comply with legal obligations, enforce our rights, and respond to lawful requests.

5. Linked League of Legends account data

If you link a League of Legends account to Blinta, we use that linked account data to provide the account-connected features of the Service. This includes account connection, mission tracking, gameplay verification, stats and history displays, account overview features, leaderboard-related functionality, and other mission or progression features shown in the product.

We only use linked game account data for service functionality, account administration, verification, fraud prevention, support, and related operational needs described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Legal bases for processing under GDPR

If the GDPR or similar laws apply, we generally rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract, where processing is necessary to provide the Service you request, including account creation, mission tracking, League account linking, Premium access, billing administration, and support.
  • Legitimate interests, where processing is necessary to secure the Service, detect fraud, prevent abuse, improve reliability, keep operational records, and administer the platform in a proportionate way.
  • Legal obligation, where we need to keep records, respond to lawful requests, comply with accounting or tax obligations, or address disputes and enforcement matters.
  • Consent, where consent is required by law for a specific processing activity.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Blinta uses strictly necessary cookies or similar storage technologies to support core website functions such as sign-in, session management, security, and user preferences.

Blinta may also use local storage or similar browser storage where necessary for core functionality, including remembering essential account state such as sign-in-related information and subscription status between page loads.

Blinta does not use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy.

8. How we share personal data

We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only where reasonably necessary to operate Blinta, provide the Service, or comply with law.

We may share personal data with:

  • Payment providers, including Stripe, to process subscriptions, renewals, refunds, disputes, and related billing events.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, email, and support providers that help us run the Service and communicate with users.
  • Game-account and verification integrations, where required to support linked account features and gameplay verification.
  • Professional advisers and transaction counterparties, for legal, compliance, financing, restructuring, or business transaction purposes where appropriate safeguards apply.
  • Authorities, regulators, courts, or other third parties, where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

9. International transfers

Some service providers that support Blinta may process personal data outside Latvia or outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure an appropriate level of protection for those transfers, such as relying on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

10. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including account management, mission tracking, support, billing administration, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

Retention periods vary by data type:

  • Account and linked League of Legends account records are kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months after account deletion, after which they are permanently deleted or anonymized.
  • Match history and gameplay verification records (including match snapshots retrieved from Riot APIs) are retained for up to 12 months from the date of the match, after which they are automatically deleted. Older records are not retained beyond this period.
  • Account link and security audit records are retained for up to 12 months to support fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and platform security, after which they are deleted.
  • Mission and progress records are retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after account deletion to support account history and dispute resolution.
  • Billing and invoice records may be retained for up to 7 years where required for accounting, tax, payment, or legal compliance purposes.
  • Support and security logs are retained for up to 12 months or as needed to resolve active issues, investigate abuse, or defend claims.

When personal data is no longer needed, we will delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it where continued retention is required by law.

11. Your rights under GDPR

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of data, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may also have the right to withdraw that consent.

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@blinta.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may also keep certain information where an exemption applies or where retention is required by law.

If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Children

Blinta is not intended for children. Consistent with our Terms of Service, users must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase Premium, or receive a payout or prize through the Service.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, or alteration. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to protect personal data in a manner appropriate to the nature of the information we process.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, billing flows, supported integrations, or operational practices. When we do, we will post the updated version on the Service and revise the Last Updated date above.
